Real software Failure
Real software Failure is a condition in which the software does not perform the required operations or fail to do required functions. There is so much advancement in technology but this does not matter so software failure still occurs. There are software failure cases every week in the industries. If the success of the industry depends upon technology, then software failure and their downtime can have broad impact. Sometimes the impact of software failure is very bad and this lead to loss of human life’s. There were various cases of software failure from past such as bug in windows 10, software failure in crash of china Airlines Airbus A300, software failure in 2015 fighter plane F-35 etc.
Software Testing is possible way by which software failures can be avoided. Software testing is technique by which software is verifying and validating or check whether software meets required requirement. Software testing is very essential because no software is bug free. The main purpose of software testing is to avoid bugs in software and prevent software failure. There are different types of software testing such as white box testing, black box testing, grey box testing, performance testing, load testing, integration testing, unit testing, alpha testing, beta testing, usability testing etc.
