Explain why men are more likely to meet and marry someone new while women might not go into this next step. Men oftentimes have to pay child support to the mother as in many cases, she becomes to the sole caretaker of the child/children. These differences are related to society's gender expectations because society expects the father to still take care of their children even though they are not in the home and they expect mothers to focus fully on their children and not the dating life.
