It would be essential to understand that firms undergo evolutionary cycles where the structure grows from a simple to functional and then proceeds towards multidivisional levels. There exists a significant correlation between strategy and structure. Strategy refers to the functioning of organization concerning its work. Therefore, strategy includes the plan, which might set the use of resources available to the organization in order to meet their specific goals. Likewise, structure refers to process or the way in which organization places its resources in order to achieve a common goal. Therefore, it can also be presented that structure and strategy have a reciprocal relationship (Adeleke, Onodugo, Akintimehin & Ike, 2019).
