1. The governor is
elected for a four year term but there is no constitutional limit for how many terms he/ she can serve.
2. There is more than one-fourth of Texas population which does not have access to health insurance and is the highest among any states in United States. This signifies the underfunded healthcare facilities in Texas.
3. Texas government in order to promote agriculture in the state brought more than 100000 Mexican agricultural workers which is a part of Bracero Program.

NAFTA is North American Free Trade Agreement is an agreement between United States, Canada and Mexico. It was an agreement to eliminate the high tariffs between the different countries. NAFTA was implemented on 1st January, 1994.
Pros: NAFTA helped reduce the US grocery prices and this was mainly due to tariff free imports from Mexico.
Cons: Many US manufacturing jobs went from US to Mexico as a result of lower cost of expenditure on resources like human and materials (Kimberley Amadeo, 2020).
