Introduction
The HIPAA Privacy Rules are enforced by Office of Civil Rights (OCR). OCR investigates the issue, conduct compliance reviews, educate and make sure the compliance with HIPAA rules. If compliance issue arises during investigation then OCR takes the following steps to settle the case:
