Globalization and Human Security
In the era of globalization economic liberalization has become a truth. Transnational transactions and inter-country tradinghasbeen expanded on a wider basis. Globalization has made the world a smaller place where connectivity and interactivityhasbecome much easier. Since the inception ofglobalization cross bordertransportation has become smoother and it has become easier for people to travel from one nation to another. Moreover, the global revolution brought about by the World Wide Web and the Internet technology has also changed the way individuals interact with one another. But amidst theadvantagesthere have been certain disadvantages. If on the one hand globalization has impacted positively on the economies of the world then, on the other hand, it has posedserious threatto human security. Globalization has made it quiet easier for terrorist organizations to operate globally and it has also triggered human trafficking in a more widespread manner. Border security has now become an issue of concern for every nation andcrossborder terrorism has emerged as a menace. And considering the facts it must be said that globalization has brought along new risks for human beings in the form of breach of safety and security.
