Spirituality is a significant issue for many individuals, from believers to non-believers in any particular religious system. According to various researches, there are two types of spirituality: superficial and deep spirituality. This shift in thinking will make a significant contribution to the ethical functioning of life from individual to society.
Business ethics has risen to prominence as a critical component of management competence and accountability. Even when employees disagree with their actions, the spiritual aspects of leaders influence the ethical nature of businesses. Leadership is critical in directing people's and leaders' ethical actions, not to mention the future challenges that mankind will confront.
Corner (2009) piqued the interest of academics that hypothesised a link between corporate ethics and workplace spirituality. According to the study, spirituality has explanatory value in predicting workers' work ethics. People who had a high degree of spirituality were more likely to be pleased with their jobs than those who had a low level of it. This might be because persons with greater degrees of spirituality were less likely to have a negative impression of their job. Ayoun et al. (2015) discovered no statistically significant link between spirituality and ethical perception, judgement, and intention. According to Ayoun and his colleagues, the influence of spirituality on ethics is not as powerful as previously assumed. They claimed to be able to conceptually assess the impact of spirituality on morality.
