Summary
In the article by Sadik (2018), a research study has been conducted to understand the perception of the students in wearing school uniforms in the process of maintaining school discipline. The results have been collected with the help of Discipline Metaphors Survey, where there are a total of 445 students who participated in this particular research study. The students have opined that discipline is one of the greatest guiding forces for them. It has also helped them immensely in the process of maintaining proper order in the institutions. In addition to that, they have considered discipline as one of the most necessary aspects of education and the educational system, as a whole. School uniforms are also essential for the purpose of maintaining school discipline, it is an intrinsic part of ensuring discipline among different students. Uniforms are one of the best instruments to bring about order and discipline in school and its premises.

Summary
The notion of national school uniforms in Malaysia has been studied by the research scholars Woo, Tam, Bonn and Tagg (2020) by conducting this particular study which was published in Frontiers in Psychology. They aimed to find whether national school uniforms that have been prevalent since ages has any impact on the students of Malaysia. Three studies have been conducted in order to understand the results of the notion. The first study is based on a self-report questionnaire answered by Malaysian secondary students, the second and third studies were conducted with the help of Malaysian teachers as well as counsellors in the form of semi-structured interview. It has been observed through the help of the research that school uniforms reduced socioeconomic and other kinds of differences among the students. School uniforms also reduced inequality and increased the overall discipline of the schools.
