Encourage students to talk about the process of clinical reasoning, not just the outcome. Discuss your own thinking and clinical reasoning process, or use the questions and themes discussed earlier in the chapter (Delany et al., 2013; Ginsberg et al., 2016). Show students that hypothetico-deductive reasoning is only a beginning and that to be a fully holistic clinician other approaches must be tried.
