The business model of eBay is little different from other traditional business because the
company creates a place where the communities and traders could meet and could exchange their
ideas, and their experiences (eBay Inc., 2012). With the help of this, the traders expand their
businesses effectively. Due to this, the users of eBay sites feel as a part of an organization that
also increases the positive feeling of its employees. Hence, this paper would describe about its
organizational structure changes because the organization is expanding its business in another
part of world market. This paper would also describe the culture of an organization that is used
by the management of eBay to hold its employees and customers effectively. At the same time,
this paper also focuses over the control system that is used of eBay for its business activities.
Changes in eBay’s Organizational Structure
eBay is an Internet based organization and earning huge profits from online products
selling whereas so many other organizations did not do effectively. The eBay business model is
based on customer orientation; hence the organization changes its structure because of the
