Eating disorders A study conducted in the multicultural Spanish city of Ceuta investigated the relationship between religion and the prevalence of eating disorders. Students aged 12–20 were selected from three public schools. In the study, suppose there were 150 Muslim students and 46 were diagnosed with eating disorders. Of the 200 Christian students, 17% were diagnosed the same way.
a) Create a 95% confidence interval for the difference in eating disorder rates when comparing Muslims to Christians.
b) Based on your interval, are you convinced that there is a true difference when comparing rates between the religions? Explain.
