During the last burglary, the perpetrator(s) started a fire in Patil’s office. The building does not have a sprinkler system. It does, however, have a local fire detection and alarm system. Fortunately, a passer-by heard the alarm on the night of the fire and contacted the fire department. Damage to the plant was minimal.
