Due to the increasing number of patients, the management of TENDO dental services has opened a new clinic on Kampala Road. On Sundays the clinic is open from 9-10 am. At exactly 10.00 am, the door of the clinic is closed and the patients that are already inside are the only ones attended to. Patients join the queue upon arrival. The dentists are paid an hourly rate of 100,000/= for the period 9-10am and overtime pay of 20,000/= per minute after 10.00am which is computed the moment the dentist completes service with the last patient. It is assumed that there is a 10 minute time interval between the completion of one patient and start service of the next patient. Assume that patients arrive as shown in the table and waited in one queue while following the FIFO discipline as shown in the table below.

Scenario 1: The clinic has only two service points and two dentists. Perform a hand simulation for the clinic and represent the information that is necessary to help you calculate the waiting times in a table (Table 1).
I. Determine the average waiting time
Ii. Determine the maximum waiting time
Iii. Determine the wages paid to the dentists on that day
b. Scenario 2: A third dentist starts work at 10.00 am making them 3 service points. Perform a
hand simulation for the clinic and represent the information that is necessary to help you
calculate the waiting times in a table (Table 2).
I. Determine the average waiting time
Ii. Determine the maximum waiting time
