We chase money, fame, power, education, relationships, and a thousand other things without ever stopping to ask one essential question: What, actually, is a success? Well, I believe the answer to that question will differ. Based on who you ask. It’s quite subjective and can be different for everyone based on their own personal belief system, unique perspectives, and life experiences. We all want to be successful but don’t know where to start from and what real success is, for a housewife being a happy person or keeping her family happy and taking care of them is success, for a business person getting more deals or making more money and expanding their business is success, for a student grading higher and receiving degrees is success, for a poor person providing basic needs to the family is success. Some people find that helping people brings them the most joy, and therefore success looks like a life given to others. The simple yet profound truth is that what makes me happy doesn’t make someone else happy, and vice versa. My vision of success probably looks nothing like yours, and that’s how it should be. If we fail to define success for ourselves and try to pursue someone else’s path, we’ll end up frustrated, unhappy and ultimately feeling deeply unsuccessful. Bruce Lee said, “Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself; do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.” The path to success begins by asking yourself, what makes me happy? Success cannot be measured. Basically, success is the perception of every human being or just a state of mind to look into present or future. Everyone wants to be successful and for that reason, people tend to undertake various activities and missions that will make them appear and feel successful. According to my point of view, success is the achievement of the set goals as well as objectives that will yield the maximum pleasure in our lives. We must be able to clearly answer several laser-specific questions: What truly matters to me? What are the things that set me on fire with passion? What do I want to make of my life? What lifestyle do I want to achieve? Who do I want to be? What do I want people to say about me after I die? The answers to these questions must be ultra-specific.
