Studies and researchers amongst the American citizens confirmed the pessimistic approach of the citizens of America towards the Federal government. However, statistics confess that 50% of the ordinary citizens are able to do actions that influences government if there are substantial efforts. However, 47% of the Americans can do nothing to influence the government (Darr, Hitt & Dunaway, 2018). It is true that the Federal government of United States of America is chosen by a democratic voting. Hence, it is obvious that the involvement of the ordinary Americans in the voting would certainly impact the functioning of the government. The government should satisfy the citizens and overcome the demands of the public to gain effective majority in the votes.
