Do you write a recommendation letter for someone who is applying to grad school?

I would like to take an opportunity to offer a formal recommendation for XYZ (the name of the
student should replace the XYZ). As the HR Manager of the ABC Nursing Home I have known
XYZ for a considerable period of time and I do feel that XYZ is a deserving candidate for the
master’s program in Mental Health Counseling and Organizational/ Industrial Psychology.
XYZ is presently working as a volunteer in Social Services at the ABC Nursing Home for
several months and has shown a will for initiating developments and has demonstrated strong
dedication to the job and towards the organization. Due to his/her diligent work efforts XYZ has
quickly become a person on whom the peers and the superiors can depend. XYZ has showed
his/her leadership ability by counseling incoming patients and, whenever needed, their family
members too. On each and every occasion it has been found by the management that XYZ’s
advice to the patients and their family members provided great help to the concerned persons and
this has genuinely helped in the process of the sustaining of the brand name of the organization.
