1. How is this article in conversation with the readings we have had so far this semester? In other words, how can you see some of what we’ve read and talked about playing out in this real situation?
The article selected is “Policy and You: a Guide for Intelligence Analysts” written by Katz (2019). This article provides the information related to the policy, role played by the policy makers in approval of the policy as well as steps, it provides the role of the intelligence in making of the policy. I have studied introduction to intelligence and intelligence-policy relationships. This article covers major topic, which are taught in these lectures. It is indeed correct that policies are the guidelines seek by the President of the United States and the cabinet minister towards the foreign countries. These policies are developed after analyzing the relationship between United States and other foreign countries. This article provides the details of the basic role played by intelligence in developing policies for the nation.
