Discussion: Devil's Advocate

In order to explore point of view and be able to see all sides of issues students are required to take the opposing view on communication. This discussion has two major parts:

Part I:

First, compose a paragraph (6 to 10 sentences) in which you answer this question:

Has communication become stronger, or worsened, in the last 40 years?

Support your stance with examples and details. Argue your position.

Next, post it to this discussion thread, it should include a clear personal freedom, and reasons it is important.

Part II:

Find another student's post (preferably one that does not have a response yet) and take on the opposing viewpoint to their viewpoint regarding communication. Write 5-6 sentences countering their argument.

This discussion is worth 20 points.
