DIET: Theorize a PhotographFor the photographic image posted online for this assignment, write a five to seven paragraph paper (2-3 pages) theorizing about the image. Approach this with fresh eyes, please do not research the image online until after you have written your paper, this exercise has nothing to do with the name of the photograph or who took it. If you know who took this photograph, remember that does not need to be in the paper.

In tier first two paragraphs briefly describe the shot and what you feel it's purpose was. Then... Theorize about it.
Consider looking at the Glossary Lecture when using photographic terms.

Once again, keep in mind technology and processes of the period in which you think the photograph was created, do not use modern terms here. Assume most photographs we learn about in this class were taken using traditional processes, never use digital terms unless it is apparent it might be a digital photograph.
Remember not all photography is art. It can be good and still not be art. Consider Dorothea Lange's Migrant Mother photograph, it is compositionally good, but it's purpose was documentary, not art, therefore as good as it was, it's not art.Do not over Describe or Interpret in this paper.

From the quality of the picture, we can understand its age and how old the trick is as it leaves the audience awestruck by looking at it.
It is the one act, in which someone hammers his nostril with a nail. Many artists add additional flourish by replacing the nail with other items like spoons, corkscrews or handled containers (Condorelli & Rinaudo, 2018). No matter what, due to the pointed tool the trick is using, the crowd generally receives a strong reaction. This is the kind of action, which causes someone to get scared and look away, while others watch in fascinating terror.
The trick is easy to think – that the nail is collapsible or the artist relies on sleigh of the hand. It is all an illusion. The human head is not an...
