Details Consider your own community and identify the disaster event that is most likely to impact upon public health. Identify the important public health hazards that are likely to significantly impact upon the community should such a disaster occur. For each hazard, assess the risk and prioritise the hazards in terms of the need for mitigation. Use only scholarly literature to support your findings. Report In your report, you should include: • a brief description of your community, including at risk groups, essential services, geography and available resources; • a description of the disaster that is most likely to impact upon your community; • the important public health hazards likely to be present themselves in the event of such a disaster; and • a prioritisation of the hazards in terms of the risk they present to public health. The format for this task requires a cover page, introduction, hazard identification, an assessment of the risks, prioritisation of the hazards, conclusion and reference list. Your report should use relevant headings to guide the reader; content presented in tables or figures needs explanation. There is no need to include a Table of Contents or Executive Summary.
