Business Layer
The business layer of the Book and pay for a driving test service includes key actors, services and processes that interact to deliver the service to customers.
Business Actors & Roles:
· Customer: The individual that books and pays for the driving test. The user interacts with the system to select the suitable time and make the payment.
· Driving Test Administrator: The person responsible for managing the booking system. It will help in ensuring the availability and accuracy of the test schedules and handling the administrative tasks related to bookings.
Business Services:
· Booking Service: The service allows customers to view available time slots for driving tests and select the preferred date and time (Fauzi, 2018). It ensures the availability of service and this can prevent double bookings.
· Payment Service: After selecting the time, the customer uses the service to pay for the driving test. It includes processing payment through integrated payment gateways.
· Test Scheduling & Confirmation Service: Once the booking and payment are complete, the service sends confirmation to the customer with the use of email and SMS. It includes details like test location, date, time and payment confirmation.
Business Processes:
· Book Test: The customer browses available test slots and selects the suitable time.
