Assume that you are the part of the IT department of a company with three buildings. Each is two miles apart from each other.Start your research by searching for “how to design a Wi-Fi network” on the Internet. Your project report will consist of answering the questions below.

  1. How will you decide the number of access points to install?

  2. Describe in detail how you will decide where access points are placed. Consider interference and amount of traffic.

  3. How will you connect each access point to electricity?

  4. How will you make sure the Wi-Fi network is secure from intruders?

  5. How will you make sure no one has installed his or her own rogue access point that may not be secure?

  6. Provide a few details on how you will administer the system on a day-to-day basis. What are three tasks that need to be done?

  7. Create a diagram graphic showing the architecture of your plan.

Introduction
These days, wireless network systems have been generally used for the communication in enterprises. The remote communicate
s evacuates the confinement of wired associations as well as support quick access to the Internet. Fixed framework as well as cabling framework does not require for remote systems administration or innovation and most well-known and successful remote systems design is wireless loyalty and it depends on serial standard of IEEE 802.11. In case of wireless network system, in terms of connectivity it uses access point or the base station. Here, access point is like active hub for wireless connectivity among the systems. WiFi innovation is most prevalent system and it is use in the systems and Internet access points like routers as well as DSL or it can be cable modems. The developing recurrence of WiFi is expanding the innovation beyond the system and in consumer applications such as Web communication, music, gaming etc. (Kaushik, 2016). According to given scenario, my job is to design Wi-Fi network for an organization with three buildings and that comprised with 1000 employees. There is approximately two miles distance between two buildings.
Access Points
I would like to propose 802.11n standard for access point implementation. 802.11n is capable to support 25 or more users in a building. As there are 1000 employees in three buildings who are required to have WiFi connection, so there will be 40 access points will be required. By having 802.11n ethernet network will help to minimize the number of switches and ports that are required in the edge wifi network. 802.11n consolidates numerous technical improvements, the first is MIMO innovation that includes the utilization of multiple transmit (Tx) as well as receive (Rx) radio antennas in every wireless system, customer, as well as access point (AP). (Aruba Networks, 2009).
I would like to suggest wireless mesh network topology for installing these Aps. There are two frequency bands are intended for 802.11 Wi-Fi systems - 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The large transmission bandwidth accessible in 5GHz band that is the better...
