Design a Ship class that has the following members:
- A member variable for the name of the ship (a string)
- A member variable for the year that the ship was built (a string)
- A default and parameterized constructor and appropriate getters and setters.
- A toString method that displays the ship’s name and the year it was built.
Design a CruiseShip class that is derived from the Ship class. The CruiseShip class should have the following members:
- A member variable for the maximum number of passengers (an int)
- A default and parameterized constructor and appropriate getters and setters.
- A toString method that overrides the toString function in the base class. The CruiseShip class’s toString function should display only the ship’s name and the maximum number of passengers.
Design a CargoShip class that is derived from the Ship class. The CargoShip class should have the following members:
- A member variable for the cargo capacity in tonnage (an int).
- A default and parameterized constructor and appropriate getters and setters.
- A toString method that overrides the toString in the base class.
The CargoShip class’s toString () function should display only the ship’s name and the ship’s cargo capacity.
Demonstrate the classes in a program that has an array of Ships. The array elements should be initialized with the Ship, CruiseShip, and CargoShip objects.
Ship S[]=newShop[3];
S[0]=new Ship(“titanic”,”1912”);
S[1]=new CruiseShip(“ABC”,”1999”,300);
S[2]=new CargoShip(“amniac”,”2000”,2400);
The program should then step through the array, calling each object’s toString () function.
//now calling function to print values;
for(int i=0;i<>
System.out.println(S[i]);
}
I want this program in java language..kindly do program according to above requirements
