Design a series of questions that could be asked about the nature of a person’s vision problems that could help identify the area that might be injured. (Assume the neuroimaging machines are broken). Pick three from the example problems listed below. Make sure to provide reasons for your questions, and describe how the problem affects the neurological connections and circuits.

Example Problems:

·Complete loss of vision – one eye

·Complete loss of vision – both eyes

·Loss of vision on the right side of the body

·Loss of vision on the left side of the body

·Loss of color vision

·Blurred vision

·Loss of night vision

·Loss of peripheral vision

·Loss of ability to perceive motion

·Loss of ability to recognize objects

Think about how to determine whether the problem is occurring in the eyes or in the brain. If the problem is in the eyes, think about how to determine whether it is an optical problem or a neural problem. If it is a neural problem, how can you determine what neurons on the retina might be affected? If the problem is in the brain, think about how to determine whether it is in the temporal pathway or the parietal pathway and how to narrow down the particular area that is most likely to be affected.

Your response must be a minimum length of two double-spaced pages. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations and be cited per APA guidelines.

Introduction

Sudden blurry in one eye may be due to abnormally high or low blood pressure in the eyes. It may also be due to trauma caused from an injury. Further, complete loss of vision in one eye may be caused due to glaucoma, optic nerve ailment and even stroke which is caused due to loss of vision and must be treated immediately. We will prepare a list of questions which may be asked with respect to the nature of the person’s vision. The problems we will analyze are the complete loss of vision – one eye, complete loss of vision – two eye and blurred vision.
Analysis
Questions asked for complete loss of vision – one eye are as follows:
1. Why is the vision lost in one eye? This can occur if the blood vessel in one eye is temporarily or permanently congested. It happens due to atherosclerotic disease which is removed from the carotid vein.
2. Does the loss of vision in one eye lasts for few seconds to minutes? If so then its episodic blindness known as amaurosis fugax and is a rare problem. It can be treated for preventing the person from being permanently losing their vision (Tufts Medical Center, 2014).
3. Does Glaucoma...
