Ans 1. The sociologist essentially implies that deviance is being relative. This means that there is no exact right or wrong answers and no absolute method of defining the deviant actions. Essentially, the deviance actions can be explained in the relation to a specific standards and event. There are no set bars or standards that are stationary perhaps absolute since major part of these standards is contingent on the situations. For example, committing suicide is a deviant behaviour. However, the person who might have the potential to commit this action may appear completely normal. Majority of time, such people are reserved and quiet in nature. There may be little or no indication that a person who might appear absolute poised and calm on the surface is completely broken and depressed from inside which might urge them to commit suicide. 
Ans 2. As per research on deviant behaviours, it is evident that certain places may have greater impact on our behaviour. There is high probability of engaging in various deviant behaviour or perhaps becoming the victim of the crime. These places are called as deviant places. Essentially, the aura and atmosphere in such places influence the behaviour to violate social norms and warrant approval to commit actions that are disapproved from the society. For instance, today activities like excessive gambling, alcoholism, being nude in certain places, stealing are considered as deviant and places that promote such activities are called deviant places.
