    E-Commerce has opened an errnormous scope for the shipping companies to expand and new ways of fulfilling the needs of the customer. With the technological innovation and online buying and selling at peak, there is a need for robust shipping companies.

d this opportunity and launched this company in the year 2015. Started as a small venture with handful of clients in Sydney and quickly expanded to other retail places in Australia. Delivering thousands of parcels every month and establishing as a trusted partner. Shippit started with the fashion and home ware boutique clients in the small facility at Surry Hills to the 7th largest company in the top 10 competitors in 2020.
Shippit is the web-based company concentrating on providing parcel delivery services for retailers.
Targeted Business Customer:
    Shippit can tie up with the e-commerce clients or any business which needs delivery at their doorsteps. Revenue streams are wide open for this business. It can increase its customer and client base by expanding in areas where opportunities exists, like emergency, perishable, remote areas, quick delivery and also towards the global market.

The above table gives the indication that, Average Annual Income of the consumer’s has increased from previous year and people’s propensity to spend is more. Increase in population of the country will result in future demand.
By studying the population, sex ratio, income group, propensity to consume and spend, the next potential market analyses can be done. The ageing population has customized the need for robust door step delivery and younger population has customized the need for app based, text based, email based confirmation of the tracking.
Customer Needs, problems and Fears:
    Customer needs on time delivery of the products, need to priorities the rush orders and fear of losing the client for non-performance of the given tasks on time, wrong product delivery, wrong address provided and delivered, goods damaged during transport are some of the problems which needs to be addressed by the Shippit and fear of bad reviews and resulting loss.
This venture is trying to address and solve these issues by effective supply chain management.
The company has invested significantly in SCM software and to address the present and the future probable issues relating to the business.
Major Product, Service benefits and Features:
    There are varieties of services which are made available to the customer. Chat service, call back service. These services are provided around the clock and tracking is made easy both for the customers and for the Shippit and the history of the issues. These in built tracking enables in formulating the policies and strategies for improvement of service.
