Domestic issues of Jimmy Carter’s administration:
Jimmy carter was the 39th president of the Uni
ted states and stayed in office from 1977 to 1981. During that time, he had to face various domestic and foreign issues in the country which actually hampered his administration and led to his failure to win a second term later. Much of it came to him from the earlier government though. The domestic issues that he had to immediate face was unemployment, inflation and the energy crisis in the country. Carter took charge when the country was under recession and his domestic policies improved the economy a hit but was not able to end the recession.
His domestic policies included the formation of the federal department of energy and the department of education. He also established the national energy policy and also did various other reforms to bolster the economy and improve the socio economic condition of the people of the country.
