Institutional features of the President of the US (POTUS) as provided in the Constitution:
Presidential terms: The executive power within the US will be vested in the President and he/she will hold the office for tenure of four years together with the Vice President that is selected for the same term.
Qualification: The person applying for the post should be born in United States and should be 35 years of age. Further, the candidate should have lived in US for a period of not less than fourteen years (Strauss, 2014).
Powers: The three types of powers can be identified as provided in the Article II of the US Constitution:
Expressed Powers: This is the power that are granted to the President as per the Article II, Section 2 and 3 of the Constitution are the expressed power and it includes the power associated with the military, diplomatic, legislative and executive powers (Rossum and Ralph, 2018).
