Among the many river valley civ
ilization, the most ancient river valley civilization is the Mesopotamian River valley civilization. Wilson, Mutter and Inkster (2018) have discussed that the river valley civilization is an agricultural nation, which is situated beside the river. The river valley civilization is the society with the large and permanent settlements that include the urban development, social satisfaction, labor and other written or other means of the communication. A river that provides the inhabitants gets the reliable source of water for drinking and carries out their agricultural activities.
In the river valley civilization, many societies have flourished. However according to Strady et al. (2017) have further added that the first ever known river valley civilization is the Mesopotamian civilization which dates back to about 4000 to 3100 BCE and provides the earliest sign of their existence in the near east parts. The name of the civilization Mesopotamia means a city between rivers. The major attraction of this civilization is that they receive plenty of water from the rivers, which are reliable o carry out the agricultural activities and fulfilling other needs. Further the fertile land had enabled to produce more crops than what is needed to for living, hence the people was engaged themselves in many non-agricultural activities such as construction of buildings and building cities. Along with that, the people also are engaged into the metalworking, trade and social organization. With the increase in construction process the increase in transportation also increased and that had led to use of boats for ferrying peoples and goods from one place to another...
