Answer 1. Dana is a strong character in the classic poem Beowulf. She is Gren's mother who was earlier working in army as a soldier. Being an ogre and a women she has faced lot of struggle in her life and people always overlooked her true talents. After she got pregnant, she fled the army and found shelter behind the lake as well as surrounds her mountain making her wife to mere. She is a heroic character who protects herself and her family as well as always work hard to support her people.
