Descartes'sMeditations on First Philosophyis one of the most important texts in the history of Western Philosophy, and now you have interacted with it. For this week's discussion forum I want you to write a paragraph on "the wax example" that Descartes writes about at the end of the Second Meditation. I want you to interpret and analyze that part of the text. Describe what you think is going on with the wax example and answer whether you think it makes sense. In other words, analyze and critique this example in light of what Descartes is doing in the first and second meditations.

As always, only draw from the text and my lectures (and my secondary source,FD, if you are using it). Remember one of the points is for you to engage your own cogito. Also, as I'm sure you all know, most of what is on the internet is useless and wrong.
