Define the term Alternative and Null hypothesis with an example.

You are required to go to any hospital, private clinic or just look around in your surroundings
and take a person/client with some psychological problem/disorder. Your first task is to build
rapport with him/her and then conduct a diagnostic interview.
You will write a dialogue between you (interviewer) and that person/patient (interviewee). Your
assignment will be based on following key points:
 Introduction (4)
 Diagnostic Interview (8)
 Conclusion (3)
Instructions:
 In Introduction, you will write age, gender, education, occupation and marital status of
the person/client as well as the place which you have visited.
 In the section of diagnostic interview, you will write a complete dialogue of diagnostic
interview (questions you have asked and answers of the person/client).
 In conclusion, you will write the diagnosis you made on the basis of dialogue between
interviewer and interviewee.
