A real-life case, which involved the connection to ethics involving a person, group or corporation that was involved in a bribery situation is of the BAE Systems. On 5 February 2010, the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) in the UK broadcasted that, in association with the Department of Justice (DoJ) in the U.S., it had reached at a synchronized global resolution with BAE Systems (BAES) of the long-established investigations of bribery accusations in numerous countries. This UK based corporation, since 1989, has been under inquiry by British authorities. This case has been one of the longest investigations of fraud in history (Hartley).
