Course Project - BUSI650 Business Analytics Course Project - BUSI650 Business Analytics Weightage: 25% of the final grade (Report 20% + Presentation 5%) PROJECT DETAILS This project may be done in groups of size 2-3. We will have higher standards for those working in groups of 3, but either way we expect it to be a substantial project on which you devote significant effort. It's difficult to quantify "significant effort" but there's a grading rubric that can clarify this. We are not looking for a perfect project, instead we are interested to see how you identify some of the challenges and come up with strategies to handle them. You may include your failed attempts in the report, what you learned from them, and how you improved your work to get into your final submission. Outline: • Dataset • Methods, Tools, And Techniques • Sample Business Questions • Presentation Guide • Report Guide • Assessment • Submission I. Dataset Datasets: We've identified the following sources of data (over 600 datasets to choose from) that we recommend using for your project. Be warned: In data analysis projects, it's common for more than 80% of the overall effort to be in obtaining the data and getting it ready for analysis, with less than 20% going into the analysis itself. Considering the limited time 2-3 weeks for the project, we're trying to alleviate this imbalance and the attendant frustration by providing a menu of datasets we know are not difficult to work with. Data formats: Most of the data listed above is provided in .xlsx (Excel) or .csv format. http://web.stanford.edu/class/cs102/datasets/Players.csv http://web.stanford.edu/class/cs102/datasets/Teams.csv https://github.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19 https://www.kaggle.com/sudalairajkumar/novel-corona-virus-2019-dataset https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/en/geographical-distribution-2019-ncov-cases https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus-source-data https://github.com/nytimes/covid-19-data https://github.com/thepanacealab/covid19_twitter https://data.europa.eu/euodp/en/data/dataset/covid-19-coronavirus-data Course Project - BUSI650
