Electronic record management is the systematic control of creation, maintaining, and use and deletion of records. From the company point of view Electronic Records Management is maintenance of the record of the customer, employees, products a
nd business activities and easily available when needed (Krishnamoorthy et al., 2014).
Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics
· Business intelligence sometimes BI is the technology based strategies for used by organization to gather information and data. After analysis the information it allows senior officials to take decision which is in the favor of the organization.
· Business analytics sometimes BA term used to make decision from past experience or from the past business performance. Statistics and reviews plays a very important role to make decision. Reviews and Statistics are used to analyze the organizations business performance.
Data and text mining
Both data and text mining has little difference, data mining is just the gathering of information by extracting information from data base (data sets) whereas text mining is the gathering of extremely good quality data from the specific text, records etc.
Big data analytics and data discovery
· Big data analytics is the study and analysis of large and complex data sets. Traditional methods cannot handle the large data so big data is used to handle large amount of data.
· Data discovery is the gathering of data and patterns from different and large database using technical and artificial intelligent system. Data is gathered in visual format and after analyzing it is used in applications (Malik, 2013).
Enterprise architecture
Enterprise architecture sometimes EA is the practice of conducting operation framework for an enterprise functional areas including, operation, management, employees, customer, infrastructure, technical etc.
Management information system
MIS stands for Management Information System is the computerized database which is used for analyzing summarizing and operating information useful for any organization. This generally used in reference to financial data. MIS is used to analyze information related to the organization.
Data life cycle and data principles
Data life cycle also known as data life cycle management is the management of the information and record throughout its life cycle from the creation and last until deleted, data passes through many steps and this is known as the data life cycle or data life cycle management.
