Employees, as a business resource, are the most essential resource in any business organization. No
company cannot be successful without productive employees. Employees are the one who interact with customers, coordinate the activities, perform tasks, align activities with mission and vision and help the organization in achieving organizational goals effectively and efficiently. As mentioned by Rozman, Treven and Cancer (2017), the organization should value them and take care of their well-being and the environment, in which they use to work.
It keeps the employees happy leading to increased productivity and profits. Employees are the only one who help the organization in attaining and maintaining competitive advantage. Moreover, employees are a resource for the business because without them, other resources are of no use. The employees by using their skill set and capabilities make use of raw material and add value to them so that customers can use it directly. Thus, without employees, all other resources are meaningless. They are the only one who can make use of other available resources.
