Introduction
The software standard could be defined as the protocol or guide, a set of rule or standards, or any other way used to record and accept by the different software designers, when processing one or many computer programs. In software engineering the role of standards is very important as it develops interoperability amongst the programs those are developed by different developers and have different structure. The function of interoperability is to make sure that there is less chaos and an efficient and clean assembling is achieved. These standards are developed to function globally and therefore, it has the international recognition. Many standards could be custom-developed and tailored as per the user need (Krishnamoorthi & Sahaaya Arul Mary, 2009). The given paper will analyze the two available set of standards which includes the following: -
· International standard: ISO/IEC 9126 Software engineering — Product quality
· Regional standard: AS/NZS ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119.2:2015 Software and Systems Engineering- Software testing
International standard
Standard name
ISO/IEC 9126 Software engineering — Product quality
Terms and definitions: Level of performance
The definitions applicable in ISO/IEC 9126 also apply to the standard: It could be defined as the level to the degree to which all the demands are met, represented by certain set of different values of the quality elements or characteristics.

Scope
In the set standards scope of the software testing the importance of the standards is very crucial. These standards provide the guidance to the process as it sets the examples, develop rules and indicate in relation with analytical testing. It is divided into four parts and they are as follows: -
1- Quality Models- this part of the standards talks about the attributes of program quality. The details and efficient working of the quality model is discussed here, along with which the description of the aspects and characteristics of the usage quality is also done.
2- External Metrics- the part that external indicators play is described in this model as method to measure the software products. The measurement metrics analyses the conduct of the framework, working, testing, and execution of the systems or software.
3- Internal Metrics- the discussion in this metrics includes the measurements those could be easily applied to the non-executable products at the time of coding and designing.
4- Using Quality Indicators- the last metrics determines the degree at which the program meets the requirements and needs of the clients and accomplish efficiency, viability, security, and satisfaction as per the situation (Khatibsyarbini, Isa, Jawawi & Tumeng, 2018).
The two institutions those establishes a system of global standardization of professional level includes the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electro Technical Commission). They publish the standard in accordance with the rules ISO/IEC Directive, part 3.
The standard was composed by a Joint Technical Committee ISO/IEC JTC 1, Information Technology, Subcommittee SC 7, just as Software Engineering. A board is made out of individuals from around 38 nations and does not make reference to the colleges legitimately associated with its drafting. These four segments detail huge numbers of the prescribed procedures that, whenever imparted in programming testing, will result in...
