Create an excel worksheet with the expense category of your own (see sample file on the blackboard under syllabus tab), then put in few expense items like food, gasoline....etc. Then click on Insert command tab, then select a pie chart. The end result will be similar to the sample file with category, value and percentage shown on each pie. (DO NOT type the answers on the pie itself, I will change your data, and your Excel Chart should have the new percentage, new value on it. If not, the homework will be zero).
