Introduction
Civilizations or complex societies are two different terms that converges into one single meaning that is a group of people living together dependent upon ability of agriculture to provide with the required food, specialized labor, hierarchical levels along with developments such as religious systems, architecture and much more. Through this essay, two of the ancient civilizations that is Mesopotamia and early china have been compared on several basis that reflects regional, cultural; literary and many other differences. Further, the governance of these civilizations along with the spreading pattern have been discussed.
Formation and evolution
Mesopotamia is a Greek word that symbolizes ‘a land between two rivers’ and so is reflected by this civilization. It was a Middle Eastern civilization that was present between Euphrates and Tigris Rivers. Currently Middle East is mostly dry, and sandy however, Mesopotamian period was different because it was being surrounded by rivers, which kept the agricultural land fertile, which further allowed the people to grow crops and therefore made the settlement between these two rivers possible. Proper farming of the pope was established by 7th century and later people started to develop irrigation techniques instead of relying completely on the river floodwater for crops this also led to development of economies.
On the other hand, China is derived from early chin dynasty that used to rule the modern china in the history. Chin dynasty united complete china under one emperor, which developed 5000 years ago.
