The project aims at providing better medical assistance to the patients. Scope of the Project A health care information system for remote monitoring of the patients will be introduced that will assist in providing better healthcare facilities to patients at remote locations through digital technologies and collect various forms of health data from individuals in a particular location and transfer this information with high security to the health care providers located in a different location. The health care professionals will then access the available information and will provide the patients with treatment and recommendation based on the chunk of information available. The project shall focus on advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and Internet of Things. The scope of the project shall be extended to making the use of technologies like big data analytics. Out of Scope of the Project The project shall not focus on conducting remote surgeries. The project also does not take into consideration medical robots. The scope of the project shall be limited to providing the patients, the medical assistance that would include the medicine, preferred diet and would provide the patients with most suitable recommendations. Project Goals The project aims at developing a health information system for patients remote monitoring so that patients at distant locations can be provided with the best health care form the most renowned experts. The system aims at achieving the goal of gathering, compiling and analysing health data to help manage the health of the population and to reduce the costs in providing healthcare. The goals of the project are to come up with a project plan that fits best into the budget and fulfils the intended purpose. The goal is to select the best solution to fulfil the requirements and to gain approval on a particular project plan. The next goal of the project is to implement the solution so that patients at remote locations can be provided with technology-based healthcare services. The project shall further focus to attain the goal of monitoring the performance of the implemented system. Frequently monitoring the implemented system will help to ensure that the system provides the benefits it is intended to provide.
