Consider the value of numbers in research, treatment goals and outcomes. The use of numbers is a quantitative way of measuring achievement and defining success. Quantitative methods include surveys, questionnaires etc. Qualitative methods in research include interviews, focus groups and direct observation.

This week’s discussion post examines the idea of quantitative vs. qualitative. Address the following in your initial post:
