The Interview: The purpose of an interview is to gather information from a person. Interviews are simply fact gathering discussions. It should be stated that the interview will be conducted with someone with whom you do not the interview will be conducted with someone with whom you do not anticipate having an adversarial interaction with. On the other hand, an interrogation is intended to obtain information from an individual who does not want to provide any incriminating information or turn on a friend. Interview one at a time: It is highly inadvisable for an investigator to interview witnesses while they are in the presence of anyone else.
