Consider the reaction N2 −²−−±− 2N. (a) At the peak combustion temperature in a car (2500 to 2800 K), and neglecting the effect of pressure, will this reaction affect the production of NO? (b) If the peak pressure is about 35 bar in the cylinder of a car engine, does this high pressure increase or decrease the production of N via this reaction?
