Consider the network shown in Figure 4.22:
(a) Solve for the set covering solution with Dc= 20. Be sure
i. to show clearly the initial constraint matrix,
ii. to explain why any rows and/or columns can be removed,
iii. to indicate which nodes are forced into the solution,
iv. to state how you solve the problem once all possible row and column reductions have been done, and
v. to show where you actually locate facilities.
(b) Repeat part (a) using Dc= 18.
