Bj,M,u(tj ) > 0 for all j ∈ {−M,...,K − 1}
implies that the solution of the interpolation problem is unique. Hint: Show that the matrix (Bk,M,u(ti))i,k is regular. Prove this first for M = 0. Then proceed by induction.
