Introduction
In this assignment, we will focus on the mission and purpose of the USAID. We will also consider a country, in which the USAID’s mission and purpose fits suitable in order to help that country. 
Causes of Hunger in Ethiopia
Ethiopia is a country, which is in the continent Africa and is also populous country. It is very populated country and if we have to fulfill the needs of people living there, resource are scarce. The GDP is also very less and thus it comes under the third poorest nation or country of the world. Due to fewer resources, people are not able to feed themselves in a proper way. The cleanliness is also not much there. The situation of people in the country is very bad. Thus, nearly half of the population are living under line of poverty and not able to live a normal life. It is because of the lack of food and basic amenities (Webb et al., 2018).
The hunger rate is thus very high. More than half of the population are facing the hunger issue. If we discuss the causes of hunger in the Ethiopia then there are three main cause, which are policies of military, insects and drought. The current population of Ethiopia is around 11 crores and almost 7 to 8 crores people facing hunger issue. The death rate of people of Ethiopia due to hunger is 20 percent,
