INTRODUCTION
The Four Seasons are luxury hotels that concentrate on creating an exceptional local image by
following worldwide customer service practices. They follow simple principles like being
friendly with guests, making eye contact with those who pass by, using clear voice and using the
first name of the guests naturally which provides them a feeling of recognition and taking
ownership to help guests solve their problems and showing concern to the guests etc. They
believe that treating others the way they want them to treat them is their principle.
Four Seasons decided to enter to Paris with the help of George V, a reputed hotel in Paris. But, in
order to match with the global standards of Four Seasons, George V has to undergo some
cultural and physical changes. Some of them include separate corridors and elevators to transport
food and trash, not giving preferential treatment to some guests etc. while following the French
regulations like employees working near the window for a certain number of days.
