INTRODUCTION













Teachers are responsible for using a variety of progress-monitoring strategies to evaluate and support student achievement. These strategies include formative and summative assessments, which are always part of lesson plans and should be aligned to both objectives and standards. In this task, you will describe a formative and summative assessment to support a three-part learning objective. The summative assessment will also include an evaluation tool. You will describe how you will use the assessment and evaluation tool to measure student performance.



















REQUIREMENTS
















Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly.


















You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.


















Tasks maynotbe submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc., unless specified in the task requirements. All other submissions must be file types that are uploaded and submitted as attachments (e.g., .docx, .pdf, .ppt).















A. Create a three-part learning objective that includes behavior, condition, and measurable criterion.










B. Describe a formative assessment, that could be used to monitor a student's progress in meeting the learning objective in Part A,including a sample of what might be on the formative assessment(e.g., questions, things you might observe).

2. Describe how you will provide specific feedback to students about their performance on the formative assessment from Part B.

A. Three-part Learning Objective
In the end of lesson students will have the ability for writing persuasive essay for demonstrating ability that includes use of logical reasoning and effective writing
strategies that will help in convincing reader for taking the specific action. Behaviour criterion includes writing a persuasive essay. Condition criterion implementation of logical reasoning along with writing strategies. Measurable Criterion requires understanding reader and convincing them.
B. Formative Assessment
It is required for gathering the information based on progress of student. It includes meeting based on learning objective along with formative assessment for providing guided peer-review activity. Students can exchange draft essays with other students and this will help in answering specific questions that are related with writing and reasoning (Oh & Seo, 2022). It is important that teacher can observe and students should take notes and improve participation in the peer-review process.
Sample Question:
Provide an example of how you can use logical reasoning in your persuasive letter to convince the reader to take action.
Data Collection:
In the peer-review process, it can help teachers in observing and looking after the participation of students. All the information can be collected and this can be completed with the use of peer-review form. It is important for teacher to ask students for reflecting the progress that will help students in meeting learning objective.
Specific Feedback:
The teacher can provide with specific feedback that can help in reviewing the process and it can help in completing the peer-review form. The teacher introduces students with a list of strengths and areas that are required to be improved and this should be based on the feedback that are received during the peer-review process.
