Formal Research and Business Proposal
When comparing formal research and business proposals it is vital to note that the formal
research is a theoretical approach while a business proposal is a practical approach as it is
mostly used in the execution of the v
arious ideas affecting business.
Differences:
There are practical as well as theoretical differences between formal research and business
proposals. Formal research is majorly funded by grants from the public and learning institutions
as well as government bodies. The conclusion is added to the knowledge pool in the discipline
researched. On the other hand, the business proposals are funded through the various firms only
when they are aware of the problems contributing pessimistically towards the achievement of
the organizational goals. The formal research may spot the various roles that the HR professional
can play in an organization, acting as change agents, strategy preparation etc. the formal research

are identified by the formal research into the various proposals to deal with the HR problems.
The formal research is often modeled in such a way that it can replicate previous research done

concerning the findings. The aim of business proposal is the solution of a particular problem
which ones solved the goal of the said problem is achieved. Business proposal uses industrial and
firm specific information while the formal research uses the latest scholarly articles. The
major theoretical difference lies in the purpose for which the report is written. The formal
research is meant to create knowledge in different disciplines without focusing on solving the
organizational problems. Formal research has little practical impact on the different operations of
the organizations, nor does it play a great role for solving managerial problems. The business
proposal serves to be an important tool for the solution of organizational problems as it has
practical implications on it. The business proposal spot out problems to be dealt with by an
organization so that the firm can be able to recognize higher revenue levels while at the same
time reducing or controlling the financial costs incurred by the firm.
The findings of formal research can...
