In this essay, I am going to discuss the fathers as they are in the two above mentioned stories and their thought processes along with their behaviour towards their child in "The Setting Sun and The Rolling World" and "Saturday climbing." Both the fathers deal with the same sort of dilemma, whether to hold onto their child or let them go. Both of them face trust issues although there is a difference between how both the fathers deal with the situation.
